  • Amy Smith Montoya formed Bella in 2009 with her partner, Gina K. Picicci, after working with Real Property Investment Services, Inc. for 18 years. She held positions with RPI as Marketing Manager, Financial Manager, CFO, Vice President of Asset Management and President. Her experience includes marketing initiatives, financial management, investor relations, strategic planning and property management operations. Her team approach and emphasis on individual and community leadership has helped make Bella the preferred employer for many property management professionals.

    Amy earned her Bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University. She currently serves on the Arizona Multihousing Association Board of Directors and for 
    the National Apartment Association (NAA) as the Regional Vice President for Region 7.  In addition to her participation on various committees and task forces for both associations, she has been an Arizona Delegate to the NAA for 6 years. ​
  • ​Gina Picicci has 30+ years' experience in the property management industry. In her current role, Gina has great influence and impact on the day-to-day reporting and strategic analysis of the operations.

    Gina's experience includes serving as Commercial Facilities Manager, Property Manager, Asset Manager, Regional Manager, Assistant Vice President, and Human Resource Manager. Current responsibilities include oversight and analysis of daily operations, leadership of the corporate team members, conflict resolution and risk management.

    She has taken courses from the Building Owners and Managers Institute International (Real Property Administrator program), and is a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) designate with the National Apartment Association.

  • Crystal DeHoag has been with Bella Investment Group since 2006. Having spent several years as an onsite Property Manager at one of our larger communities, Crystal offers unique insight into the ​day-to-day operations of each property. Crystal moved to the corporate home team in 2014, and began to steadily increase her leadership role within the company. Crystal embodies the core values of Bella Investment Group in her integrity and servant leadership style.

    Flagstaff is Crystal's hometown, and she has deep roots in the community, graduating from Sinagua High School and continuing on to Northern Arizona University where she studied Geology/Earth Sciences. Crystal has had her real estate license since 2008 and also has her CAPS certification with the National Apartment Association.
  • ​Shelley Boucher has been in the property management industry since 2002 providing leadership in finance, accounting and asset management. Her responsibilities currently include maintaining partnership and corporate documentation; corresponding with investors, lenders, attorneys and CPAs; processing sale, purchase, and refinance transactions; software implementation and training; budgeting; tax and estate planning; forecasting; and cash management.

    Shelley received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance in 2011 from the University of Phoenix.

  • ​During her 25 years in property management, Brenda has held positions as Property Manager and Marketing Director. Her responsibilities include creating and implementing our annual sales and marketing strategy, coordination of advertising, management of revenue software, coordination of corporate and summer rental program, and acting as our in-house apartment locator.

    Brenda Klein obtained her AA/AS from Allen Hancock Community College in Santa Maria, California.

  • ​Kim originally worked for Bella Investment Group, LLC as a Property Manager from 1999 to 2004 and returned to Bella in December of 2009 as our Accounting/Human Resource Manager. As of February 1, 2018 Kim has become Bella’s Designated Broker along with the recent change to Director of Resource Administration. In the role of Designated Broker, Kim’s duties include the oversite of her licensees and ensuring compliance of all Bella-managed properties as it pertains to law and policy. As the Director of Resource Administration, Kim’s duties include managing payroll, handling of personnel matters assigned to assure compliance with federal and state labor laws, recruiting, pre-employment processing, new hire processing/trainings, along with trainings for current team members and oversight of performance reviews. She also processes benefits enrollments, workmen's compensation claims, and oversees the Accounting Department. 

    Kim is a native to Flagstaff, has had the opportunity to watch the community grow, and has been honored to be a part of that continued growth. Kim earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) with both PHR and CP designations. Kim is also a member of the Northern Arizona Human Resource Association. Kim has an extensive background in real estate - as a licensed agent since 2002 and then to Designated Broker as of February 1, 2018.  

  • ​Vanessa came to Bella in March of 2017 in the role of Accounting Clerk. As Accounting Clerk, Vanessa’s duties include processing bank reconciliations, utility billing, review of accounts payables, handling of the properties replacement reserves and working to maintain vendor information along with her support to the Accounting Specialist. ​

  • ​Katherine has been in business management since 2010 and accounting since 2012, expanding her knowledge to real estate in the summer of 2018. She assists by providing leadership and analytical skills in accounting, which includes assisting the Director of Resource Administration. Her duties include processing the daily bookkeeping functions of the Bella-managed apartment communities by recording the business transactions and maintaining/retaining the accounting records. Additional duties include compiling the monthly financial statements, processing accounts payable, and reconciling accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, as well as other ledger accounts, and overseeing Home Office vendors.

    Katherine attended Colorado Technical University for her Bachelors of Science in Accounting and the Arizona Mountain School of Real Estate, all while staying an active volunteer within the community.

  • Richard Marquart has served Bella's computer networking needs for 5 years with his own business, Data Doctors. Richard has proudly been on staff with Bella since February 2014. Richard holds an integral role in managing the IT needs, keeping everyone's computers happy and healthy. His drive to achieve and his willingness to be a team player has made his tenure with Bella a positive and dynamic experience.

    Richard has had extensive experience in training franchisees, producing training programs, and creating innovative components for the growth of other businesses in Arizona. Richard's achievements include: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Microsoft Certified Systems Professional, and A+
  • Tim Els joined the Bella team January of 2018 and oversees the capital improvement projects for Bella’s 12 properties. His responsibilities include ongoing property inspections, developing reports and ideas for determining future projects, and ensuring the vendor’s work meets Bella’s standards in quality.

    Tim received his degree in Tourism and Tour management in Cape Town, South Africa. He has been in the USA for 12 years.​

  • ​Robin has been with Bella since 2005, implementing security plans and providing patrol services for Bella's communities.

  • Khara House joined Bella Investment Group, LLC in 2013, serving as the Assistant Manager at one of our larger Flagstaff communities. In 2014, Khara transitioned into the role of Property Manager, maintaining a focus providing servant-leadership to both her team members and the community. In her current role, Khara provides support and assistance to the President in day-to-day portfolio operations, in addition to providing in-house management for several single family properties. Khara is an avid learner who enjoys working with social media, marketing initiatives, and assisting her team members meet their goals.

    Khara earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from Messiah College in Pennsylvania, and her Master’s degree from Northern Arizona University. In addition to industry-related service such as serving on the AMA’s Autism Committee and the preliminary management group for the Bella Initiative of Grace Fund, Khara also volunteers with local groups such as the NAACP, Coconino Humane Association, and the Executive Board of NAMI Flagstaff. She earned her real estate license in 2017. 

  • Elizabeth has provided administrative assistance to the Bella team since August 2011. Her responsibilities include software support, report preparation, document management, company event and training coordination, and website and social media site maintenance. ​​

    Elizabeth received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business and minor in Spanish from Missouri Southern State University in 2009.

  • Jill joined the Bella team in 2017. She serves as the Executive Assistant and thinking partner to the Managing Partner, supporting her industry leadership roles and personal businesses through calendar coordination, communication, travel arrangement, purchasing and event planning. Jill also provides administrative support to the Director of Resource Administration and the executive team.

    Jill holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (Journalism/English) from Baylor University and a Masters of Journalism in Public Relations from the University of North Texas. She is a contributor for Flagstaff Moms Blog, the Director of Women’s Ministry at her church and serves on the board for Flagstaff Christian School and Northern Arizona Women’s Retreat.​ ​
